Robert A. Buckwald

Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Buckwald is co-founder, Board member and CEO of CI Systems Ltd. He has 30 years experience managing electro-optics instrumentation companies and products. He was a co-founder of Applied Spectral Imaging (ASI) and served as its CEO until July 1999. Dr. Buckwald presently serves as Chairman of the Board of CI Technologies, Inc. and a member of the BOD of ASI. During Dr. Buckwald's management ASI received the European information Technology prize. Under Dr. Buckwald’s management, CI Systems went public in Tel-Aviv in 1993. Dr. Buckwald holds a PhD in Physics from Ohio State University (1969), Post Doctoral fellow from the Technion and was a member of the Faculty of Physics at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. He holds over 30 patents, is the author of many papers and book.

Dario Cabib

Ph.D., Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Cabib is co-founder of CI Systems Ltd. and has served as its Chief Technology Officer since its inception. He is co-founder of Applied Spectral Imaging, Ltd., and during the years 1995-2005 he served as its Chief Scientist (1995-1999) and member of the BOD (1995-2005). His work led to ASI’s receiving the coveted European Information Technology prize for the best new product of the year 1997. He has 30 years experience in managing the development of electro-optics technologies and products. Dr. Cabib is co-founder and member of the BOD of CI Technologies, Inc. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Physics from Michigan State University in the field of semiconductor physics (1973), and was a Senior Research Fellow at the Faculty of Physics of the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (1973-1980). Dr. Cabib holds over 30 patents.

Moshe Lavi

B.Sc., VP - New Product Development

Mr. Lavi joined CI Systems in 1984 and since then has served in various positions. Today, Mr. Lavi is VP of new products development. He has 39 years experience in the field of electro optics including positions held at El-Op and Applied Spectral Imaging, at which he was the Director of Engineering. He received a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 1973.

Efraim Tzafrir

VP - Manager E-O Division

Since May 1999, Mr. Tzafrir is the director of Sales and Marketing of the E-O division. Previous to this appointment, he has held various management positions of increasing responsibility at CI Systems, including manager of the Opto-Mechanical Development and manager of US operations. Mr. Tzafrir has been involved in electo-optics since his graduation from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, as an E-O engineer. Before joining CI Systems, he worked in Fibronics, a leading company in the area of fiber optics, and in Motorola, where he worked in communications.

Yoram Naor

VP – Manager CI SEMI Division

Mr. Naor acts as the general manager of the SEMI division since 2006. Prior to this appointment Mr. Naor served in various roles in the company, from applications engineer and product line manager of spectroradiometric products, to R&D management of the Semi division. In between, Mr. Naor served as the manager of CI Systems INC, the USA subsidiary of CI Systems. Mr. Naor holds M.Sc. degree from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, in electrical engineering/electro-optic systems.

Tzvi Hardoon

VP Finance

Mr. Hardoon joined the company as CFO in April 2000. Previous to his appointment at CI Systems, he served as a senior manager at Ernst & Young from 1999-2000. From 1993-1998, he was a partner in Ratzkovsky Fried.
