Project manager

Job description:

Working in a multi-disciplinary matrix environment to design, integrate and deliver complex electro optical projects.

The project manager is in charge of coordinating the engineering and logistic efforts in-house as well as leading the technical and commercial interface with the customer.

Minimal requirements:

  • Education: BSc in engineering from a known academic institute, (Technion Graduate is an advantage)
  • Experience: 7 years
  • Required proficiency in following fields: design and integration of multi-disciplinary systems, leading engineering teams (advantage), Engaging a wide range of topics – mechanics, system control, electronics, optics, testing, manufacturing and production, training, product qualification, etc.
  • Software: MS Office
  • Language: Hebrew, English
  • Personality: good team worker, ability to motivate others, representative in front of customers

Electronics Technician

Job Description


Our Carrollton, Texas site (facility) is currently looking for an electronics technician to support a busy service department,
in a small established local business.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 year of experience, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic systems and/or components
  • Proficient use of oscilloscopes, power supplies, waveform generators,
    multi-meters, and other common electrical test equipment & hand tools
  • Familiarity with ESD protection procedures
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong work ethic and hands-on commitment to getting the job done
  • Excellent technology problem solving skills and a “can-do” attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Ethernet and wireless networks and basic networking is a plus
  • Ability/IPC certification with soldering and cable construction a plus
  • Work experience with infrared technology is a plus but not required

Job responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting & repair of electronic systems.
  • Perform verification testing using standard electrical test equipment and specialty equipment
    such as inspection tools  and temperature chambers, and thermometers
  • Perform thermometric calibrations of infrared test equipment
  • Work with engineers to find electronic failures in systems, following through to repairs
  • Ability to follow procedures strictly, particularly in setting up and testing IR systems
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work environment
  • Ability to work efficiently, effectively, and cooperatively in a small group atmosphere
  • Perform other duties as required

Monitor and operate procurement processes and ensure they meet delivery and spec requirements.
Manage the process A to Z – from RFQ to issue PO, maintain purchase order.
status and shipment tracking information, handle discrepancies in invoices.
Negotiate with suppliers and reduce costs. Management and execution of import processes.
Taking part in cross-functional teams such as R&D, Engineering , QC and production.

Minimal requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field –
(Engineer – Advantage).
At least 3 years of relevant experience in Procurement and Supply Chain procedures.
Experience in global procurement of electronic parts - sourcing capability.
Familiar with the Suppliers & Distributors in the market (Local & Global).
Experience in import processes – Advantage.
Strong negotiation skills.
Experience with MRP system (Priority – Advantage)
Experience with using Microsoft tools (Excel –a must)
Independency, multitasking, creative thinking, detail-oriented and versatile.
