CI Systems’s ILET (Intermediate Level Electro-optical Tester) family of test systems are most suitable for performing optical and Boresight tests at the I level and in the laboratory. CI’s compact, computerized ILET can be placed in a van and enable full testing of thermal imagers and visible sensors without recourse to the D level. The basic ILET tester includes a collimator, a light source (blackbody and / or visible light source) and a target wheel (manual or motorized). As an option the tester may include a computer with CI’s test software.

The ILET testers are easy to use when interfaced with CI’s software, minimizing the turn around time and maximizing testing objectivity and repeatability. The testers are designed to retain their accuracy over a wide range of temperatures.The ILET’s outstanding features and versatility make them useful in a variety of applications such as testing inside environmental chambers, testing on production lines or testing in the field.
